It’s a great way to get familiar with the layout before your first round.
This view shows the potential championship line to the future island hole.
From the pro tee, players would throw alongside the amphitheater seating on the right, past the stage on the left, and carry toward the island and gazebo in the distance. With spectators able to watch nearly the entire flight, this could become one of the most dramatic and memorable shots on the course.
Shorter tee positions would allow players of every skill level to experience the island, while the pro line would provide the ultimate challenge.
This area provides several possibilities for the intermediate tee positions of the future island hole.
Players would still get the excitement of a true water carry to the gazebo island, but from a more manageable distance and angle than the championship tee. The surrounding landscaping and open approach create several options for tee placement, allowing the hole to be adjusted for different skill levels and tournament layouts.
The goal is to make the island experience challenging and memorable without limiting it to only the biggest arms.
